Transplant Pathology Internet Services (TPIS) is intended to serve as an educational resource for healthcare professionals interested in the field of transplantation medicine with an emphasis on pathology.

The original seed funding for TPIS was provided by the College of American Pathologists Foundation Scholars Program to Dr. Charles Richert. We remain committed to providing high quality transplant pathology-related material in the context of current classification criteria. TPIS accepts no funding or advertising and is solely the product of the Division of Transplantation and Hepatic Pathology of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in conjunction with on-site server maintenance by the Informatics Services Division of UPMC.
