This is a wedge biopsy of the liver from an organ donor with retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy noted at the time of harvesting. The portal triads are markedly expanded by a relatively monotonous population of lymphocytes. Focal sinusoidal infiltration by the same cells is also demonstrable. A tentative diagnosis of small lymphocytic lymphoma was made, and all donor organs were used for research purposes.
