Tx Topic - Pancreas Allograft

Figure 1. Septal and acinar predominantly lymphocytic inflammation in CMV graft pancreatitis. The inflammation tightly related to the acinar parenchyma and there is evidence of tissue damage. This patient had systemic evidence of CMV infection and the symptoms including allograft dysfunction resolved with decreased immunosuppression and antiviral treatment.
