Dr. Cinthia B. Drachenberg is a
Professor of Pathology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and Medical Director of the Immunohistology and Diagnostic Electron Microscopy Laboratories at the University of Maryland Hospital. Her primary interests are renal and pancreas transplantation pathology, oncogenesis and prostate carcinoma. She has been a significant contributor to the understanding of pancreas allograft rejection histopathology and directed the focus discussion on pancreas transplant pathology at the IV Banff Conference on Allograft Pathology in March, 1997. She has published more than 50 scientific articles.
