Perivenular fibrosis(CV), centrilobular hepatocyte dropout and
centrilobular
hepatocanalicular cholestasis(arrow) are features commonly seen in
failed
liver allografts with chronic rejection. They are thought to be the
result
of obliterative arteriopathy and subsequent ischemia, although other
mechanisms
of perivenular fibrosis cannot be excluded.
