Acute Rejection Grading

Rejection
The deep aspect of the biopsy specimen displays an intense rejection-type infiltrate with numerous large lymphocytes and other scattered mononuclear cells. This finding helps confirm that the mucosal ulceration is a manifestation of acute rejection.
