Mild Acute Rejection

Cases with significant mononuclear infiltration(greater than 25% of parenchyma affected) and foci of moderate (grade t2) tubulitis (greater than 4 mononuclear cells per tubular cross section or group of 10 tubular cells). Banff 93-95 refers to these cases as Grade I rejection; the corresponding Banff 97 designation is Type 1A rejection.
