REPORTABLE DISEASES
The following is a list of diseases that are reportable by law to the Allegheny County Health Department and/or the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Please call the Infection Control Department (412/692-2566) as soon as possible if any of the patients on your units have one of these conditions or MIGHT HAVE ONE. DO NOT WAIT TO CONFIRM THE DIAGNOSIS BEFORE CALLING. The Infection Control Department will then do the necessary reporting. Thank you.
