Cirrhosis is an uncommon complication of chronic liver allograft rejection.
This photomicrograph was taken from a failed allograft, which showed almost
complete bile duct loss and severe obliterative arteriopathy. However, note
the normal spatial relationship between portal tracts(PT) and central
veins(CV) and the lack of inflammation and lack of significant
architectural alteration.
