Humoral Rejection
Another late complication of humoral rejection is obstructive cholangiopathy, as shown here. Note the ductular proliferation, cholangiolar and hepatocanalicular cholestasis. This complication results from focal necrosis and inflammation of the large bile ducts and formation of biliary sludge or stones.
