Humoral Rejection

Humoral Rejection
This is a higher magnification of the previous slide, showing in greater detail, the deposition of IgG in the sinusoids and in the portal vein thrombus. Diffuse deposition of immunoglobulin and complement components is usually only seen within the first 6-12 hours after transplantation. Thereafter, the immune deposits are usually detectable only in the hepatic artery branches and occasionally in some of portal veins.
